入試問題 ’15 大分

次の英文は、中学生の太郎君が、アンケート調査をもとに校内発表会で行ったスピーチの原稿です。グラフ(graph) と英文をもとにして、(1)~(4)の問いに答えなさい。

When I was talking with my grandmother about my school life, she said to me, ” I hear that many junior high school students are very busy, even on weekend. What do they do?”
So I was interested in this *topic. Now please look at this graph. It shows what we do on weekends. In this school, more than 60% of the students join club activities. 51% of them play their friends, and 45% of them study.
You’ll find that there are many activities that students enjoy at home. 60% of them watch TV. ( B ) of them enjoy playing video games, and the same number of them use the Internet. Only 22% of them help their family. What do you think about that? It is not bad to enjoy watching TV or playing video games sometimes., but we should not *spend too much time on them. I think we should try to do many things while we are junior high school students.
For example, how about doing volunteer activities? They are good because we can help people and make them happy. I am a member of the basketball club. We practice very hard, but I started visiting a *nursing home with other members of the club. We are glad to see their smiles. There are a lot of things we can do on week ends.
